Lalo is seeking an innately creative, self-motivated visual designer to join our marketing team. This person will lead design for all marketing, digital, and creative needs. You will get to flex your design muscles in multiple mediums and push the boundaries of creativity.
The ideal candidate should be hungry to learn and a detail oriented designer who can help establish the Lalo brand across both digital and physical brand applications. You should get excited by and well equipped to take on the challenge of thoughtfully growing Lalo with us in a fun, holistic and consistent way across all touch points spanning from print collateral to web, newsletters, in store signage, packaging, etc.
This role reports to the CMO and will also work very collaboratively with our Marketing Director and Chief Product Officer. We are open to full-time and freelance candidates at this time.
What you’ll do
Think about our customer's journey first.
Develop your create process within the Lalo team, build upon and utilize our brand guidelines.
Concepting, design and articulation of: digital design features for web, digital advertising, emails, editorial, print, packaging, social, in-store and beyond!
Design digital materials that are unique, clear in their messages, and that reinforce the brand as a leader in the creative world.
Be self motivated, open to feedback and collaborative. Confident in your ideas and execution, but agile enough to work in a lean small team way!
Partner closely with Chief Product Officer to provide design help design artwork for packaging and product inserts.
Work with CMO and Marketing Director to concept, testing and iterate on new visual treatments and constantly evolve the brand vision.
Who you are
Able to use Sketch.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media, Fine Arts or related field.
2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, visual design, UI/UX, or related field at an agency or in-house with a brand.
Abstract thinking, creative energy, confidence, self-motivation.
Knowledge and experience working with both creative and marketing teams.
A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
Strong organizational and team work skills, ability to multi-task.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.
Knowledge of digital, social, and video content.
Familiar with Zeplin app.
Familiar with Shopify
Experience with 3D and associated tools (i.e. Rhino or Solid Works)
Product Designer (Freelance)
Lalo is seeking a jack of all trades designer who can help us concept and design our quickly growing product roadmap. This person will lead design for concepting through prototyping for key products relating to the first three years of a child’s life.
Our ideal candidate will be excited and well equipped to take on the challenge of a diverse product line, while being thoughtful to the fun and playful details which will link all of our products under the Lalo umbrella.
This role reports in to our Chief Product Officer and is based in SoHo, NY
What you’ll do
Design and develop thoughtful concepts and 2D renderings for infant and toddler products
Create technically sound designs which will seamlessly transition into manufacturing technical drawing
Collaborate closely with Chief Product Officer to design and execute on product roadmap to ensure we are meeting all deadlines and creating a cohesive product line
Design cost consciously to ensure we are using the highest quality materials while being sensitive to target costs
Stay connected with our customers to gather feedback on our existing and future products
Keep organized as you manage a multi-product design workstream
Who you are
2-5 years of industrial design experience
Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite
Expertise with 2D and 3D (i.e. Rhino or Solid Works) renderings
Experience working with soft goods, hard goods, and packaging
Strong collaborator who has a love of bringing new products to life
Self-starter who is always noodling on new ideas and products for the future
Someone who wants to see projects through and committed to the product pre and post launch
Ability to design with families in mind to ensure the products we build easily fit in to their lives

Lalo is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and a self-starter, to join our growing customer experience team the Lalo Fam. In this role, you will be front and center with Lalo’s customers.
Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, thoughtful, and highly motivated to find innovative solutions for our customers. You must willing to go above and beyond to ensure our customers trust us, and feel supported, at every step of the way, and embody Lalo’s mission, value, and voice. In addition, you will work side by side with the Operations team to have a thorough understanding of Lalo’s product line, and how Lalo’s products ultimate get into the customer’s hands via online or through our retail experiences.
This role reports directly to the CEO, and will also work in tandem with both our Director of Marketing and Chief Product Officer.

Provide “above and beyond” customer service in all interactions with customers and think creatively about ways to optimize each customer’s experience
Tackle an array of problems, questions, or comments from our customers and tailor solutions accordingly
Master our internal management system in order to efficiently and effectively help our customers
Become an expert on the Lalo products, policies and brand
Work alongside Operations team ensuring Lalo’s products are shipped and delivered accordingly
Who You Are
1-2 Years of CX experience a plus
Customer service or hospitality experience is a plus
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
